Introduction
Mangal Lakshmi is the story of two sisters, Mangal and Lakshmi. Both of them face challenges and support each other. Mangal’s relationship is not good with her husband, while Lakshmi’s relationship with her husband is very good. Mangal never received respect from her husband.
Mangal is uneducated and has no idea about technology and the modern world. That’s why she always faces insults from her husband. On the other hand, Lakshami is very good in English and technology. She has many hidden talents. All the story revolves around two sisters and their married lives.
Storyline
The story starts with the introduction of Mangal, who is a 35-year-old lady. She is an uneducated woman but a passionate homemaker. Mangal lives with her laws, husband, and two children. Lakshmi is a 22-year-old girl. She is an orphan and lives with Mangal’s parents.
Lakshmi works as a tailor to support her family. Mangal’s husband, Adit, is a well-educated but arrogant man. He always insults his wife. Mangal is not happy with him. She always tries to impress him and gain his attention but fails. Her mother-in-law Kusum always supports her.
Mangal’s mother Shanti and her sister Lipika always try to hurt Lakshmi. Mangal looked after her as a daughter and always took her under her wing. She is looking for a suitable man for Lakshmi, not like her husband. Kusum helps her in this task.
Here enters Kartik, who is a young, handsome singer. He has been in a relationship with Jia for the last two years. Jia is a fraud girl and wants to get married to Kartik because of his wealth. Gayatri Katik’s mother and his aunt Kusum fix the marriage of Kartik and Lakshmi after knowing the truth of Jia. And the story goes on.
